This large national cold storage company, has contracted with Sunst8 to undertake their annual Safety Audit and Repairs program throughout NSW and Queensland. Sunst8’s sister company RackSAFE completed the Safety and Compliance Audit and prepared the scope of works required to bring their racking storage system up to Australian Safety Standards. This make good encompassed repair to Uprights damaged by forklift impact; cutting and splicing-in make good to small areas of damage; replacement of beams and racking protectors; spreading uprights; installation of mandatory SWL signage; replacement of missing safety clips; and installation of new end barriers. The site operates at maximum capacity 24/7 so Sunst8 and the client’s teams coordinated to prevent any disruption or downtime.
